Many people think it is necessary for them to pass a test of spoken english, while others people disagree.
In my opinion, we should carry out this test. Nowadays, china is developing fastly, meanwhile as a work language, english is also spreading widely. Many people spend much more time on studying english because of the need of communication.Our parent company lies in HongKong, most of them are good at english. When I am on duty, I often receive english mail. As my poor english, only what I can do is reply in simple english or in chinese.
At present, according to many reports, though many people have passed some type of english test and gain a piece of certificate, they do not express themselves at all in english. When I was a student, I have ever joined the CET-4, but I failed. Since then, I have never joined it yet. In fact I couldn't speak english even if I had passed the test, I had no chance to practise.
It is well known that if we have oppotunity to get a good job if we are good at english. Many companys ask that the employee must speak, listen , read and write in english fluently. So I think we should have a test of spoken english. In this way, we can commnicate with much more and learn the advanced western culture

In my opinion, we should carry out this test. Nowadays, China is developing fast (there's no such a word as "fastly", fast is an adverb, so you didn't need to add "-ly") , meanwhile as a working language, English is also spreading widely (it's quite weird to say in this way, I'll use "the number of English speakers increase rapidly"). Many people spend much more time on studying English because of the need of communication. Our parent company lies in Hong Kong, most of them are good at English. When I am on duty, I often receive English mails. With (独立主格结构) my poor English, what I can do is just to reply in simple English or in Chinese. (just = 仅仅、只有，并强调)

When I was a student, I took ("join an activity", and "take a test/exam") the CET-4, but I failed. Since then, I have never redone (use "redo" to avoid repetitions and ambiguity) it yet. In fact I couldn't speak English even if I had passed the test, I had no chance to practice.
