It's reported that the teachers have relatively lower income, I don't know about the teacher's salary. Now, with the society developing, more and more people pay close attention to the education.The parents hope that their children can accept the most education and success in their studying. Of course, the teachers have contributed much to the development of society.With economy developing and life-level improving, the price have been increasing. We also know that some teachers are engaged in part-job( family education?),so it may lead them to neglect their teaching.
I think that the teacher's income should be related with their teaching achievement. At present, many people want to be a teacher because of its steady.(稳定的工作 how to say?), but some of them are not suit to be teacher at all.

We also know that some teachers are engaged in part-time job (individual tutoring), so it may lead them to neglect their class teaching.

I think that the teacher's income (here i kept "the" because you're referring the income of teachers, not general income) should be based on their teaching achievements. At present, many people want to be (i deleted "a") teacher because it's a stable work/job. But some of them are not qualified to be teacher at all.

Some notes:

differences between "accept" and "receive" is -- accept: 主动地接受,意愿上的接受; receive: 被动地接受，状态上的接受. here we don't know if children really "accept" the education.
the use of "the": when you use "the", you're specifying something, if you just want to mention a concept, or a group of people without specifying those who work in a particular school, etc., just omit the "the".
Generally speaking, it's well done. I've been thinkinb about this subject these days too. I studied "TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language") in college, but haven't become a real teacher in a real school. Somehow I feel ashame, but I told myself, I'd like to be a teacher when I know for sure that I would be a good one. Because in my idea, a teacher should not just teach knowledge but also the principles to be a man. So, that's why I'm still "learning" on my part. Also, I feel ashame for my former classmates who can't even pass TEM-4(Test for English Majors) and are now teachers. :-S
